So finally I submitted my jewellery piece yesterday. It was inspired by neck pieces and the restraint, and in some cultures, freedom that you get from it. I was quite interested in the Victorian neck pieces and also those of the Kayan Tribe of Burma who put rings around their necks to make it seem elongated.
The question of Beauty came up and what it is... and how it affects cultures and so forth. Anyway without getting too deep into it, that's the jewellery piece pictured above.
I'll be using that piece to present on a dress next week for the SUPERHEROES thing that I've been working on.
